Glendon District

Welcome to the Glendon District Website!

The Scout District of Glendon District covers the Kettering and Corby area of Northamptonshire. The District consists of Scout Groups from Burton Latimer to Wilbaston, Broughton to Gretton and all places in between. Within these Groups there are Beaver Colonies (for 6-8 year olds), Cub Packs (for 8-10½ year olds) and Scout Troops (for 10½-14 year olds).We also have four Explorer Scout Units which cater for young people aged between 14 and 18. For those over 18, we have the Scout Network and the Scout Fellowships.

In addition, the District presents two Gang Shows: Kettering Gang Show and Corby Gang Show, which is celebrating it's 50th year! There is also a Scout Band.

Our District HQ, Woodcroft Scout Centre is available for hire at reasonable rates.
